Been there, done that. The result of those efforts led us to develop VLSHTS (Villa los Santos Health Technology Solutions), which is composed of VLSCMS, VLSLINKS and VLSGMS.
VLSCMS
VLSCMS (Villa los Santos Claims Management System) is a web-based solution designed to manage claims processing among health care providers and facilities, the primary medical group (PMG), and the insurer. The solution fully supports the processing of health care provider claims under the “MI Salud” government insurance system, as well as claims processing under other mayor health insurers in Puerto Rico.
With VLSCMS, the physicians and/or their support claims staff can enter claims and monitor the movement of such claim throughout all administrative stages in real-time. The primary group administrator, on the other hand, can easily track and analyze the claims and payments related to the physicians and facilities that belong to their group.
VLSLINKS
VLSLINKS (Villa los Santos Laboratory Information Network Knowledge System) is a web-based solution designed to collaborate and share laboratory tests information among physicians, laboratory facilities and other health care providers. With this service, physicians and other health care providers can track their patient’s laboratory tests and avoid overutilization or issuing duplicate orders for laboratory tests that a patient has recently taken.
VLSGMS
VLSGMS (Villa los Santos Group Management System) is a thorough and complete web-based solution designed for assisting the administrator of a primary medical group (PMG) in tracking and analyzing all of the most important areas of its group.
VLSGMS is comprised of five different modules: Insured, PCP (primary care physician), Claims, Grievances, and Reports. Each one of these modules allows the PMG administrator to keep track and analyze every important detail that affects the daily operations of its group. Since VLSGMS is web based, the PMG administrator can easily access any important information about its group from anywhere in the world.
- The Insured module allows the PMG to add, edit, and otherwise keep track of the demographic information of the patients that belong to such PMG or are otherwise related to such PMG.
- The PCP module allows the PMG to add, edit, and otherwise keep track of the important information of the physicians and specialists that belong or provide service to the patients of such PMG.
- The Claims module allows the PMG to analyze the claims that the Insurer has adjudicated to the group and easily identify those particular claims that the group has contractually agreed not to assume.
- The Grievances module allows the PMG to add and keep track of any grievances that are filed by patients or other persons against its physicians or the PMG.
- The Reports module is a powerful resource designed for the most meticulous and thorough administrator. With a current database of 50+ reports, a PMG administrator can analyze each and every angle of the performance of its group. At the request of the PMG, we can design and add any possible report that will help the administrator in analyzing and making the best possible decisions for the benefit of its PMG and patients.
